Greece’s new prime minister is due to name his Cabinet Friday, a day after his appointment as head of an interim report by a coalition government press agreement on the new European debt and provide funds to prevent the continuation of emergency catastrophic failure.
Former European Central Bank Vice President Lucas Papademos met with the country’s main political parties late into the night Thursday to determine who staff his cabinet, before the official swearing-in Friday afternoon.
Dates are a difficult balancing act for Papademos, as he seeks broad support for his government. The oath was for 2 to 4 clock (1400GMT) delayed the president’s office said, without explanation.
